Today was interesting, beginning with good questions posed by Mr. Horejsi. How much of the message is the media? How can we stay focused on content and not get totally bogged down with the technology, as happened this afternoon when it took the first 45 minutes of the workshop to get the computers upgraded to the current version of Firefox. There are qualities of the prezi presentation that are very unique compared to the linear nature of powerpoints. We did not really get time for the whole workshop but did get to explore and interesting, potentially valuable tool. Thank goodness for the students... they are brilliant, catch on quickly.
