Enhancing field trips with Podcasting

My first tech camp as a new teacher in the school district and it has been a great experience this far! Mr and Mrs Myers have provided a great field trip and a chance for the teachers and students (the teachers are also the students) to learn about a couple historic blocks in Montana relating to the various religious backgrounds. We had fun walking around, taking pictures, and listening to interesting stories. Now waiting for everyone to get their pictures uploaded, and very excited to learn about the podcasting procedure. I'm new to it, but I can see that it will be very applicable and exciting to use in my classroom!
